TED WALTHER

When we would hit the ramp, returning to ACU-4, he was there. When we would leave the ramp, he was usually the last one we saw or heard over the radio. When you would see him in the halls, if you did not have a smile on your face, he would always take a moment or two and ask in his salty voice if everything was O.K.? When he was wearing the Acting CMC hat(because our normal CMC was on travel or something)he would make a point of touring all the Detachment spaces and talk with as many of the crewmembers as possible during the day, the only time he would duck into the goat locker was to refill his coffee cup, he was always out and about. He was always there for us like a sheppard tending his sheep. Thank you Master Chief Jandreau for being there for us, you will be sorely missed and fondly remembered by this LCAC Loadmaster. My heartfelt Condolences to his two daughters and the rest of his family. Ted Walther BM1(SW/AW)LCAC Loadmaster DET 2/1/Mike LCAC 86/49/38/41/53/and all the rest in DET Mike
