Robyn, Courtney and Cody: We always enjoyed visiting with Dave at Cody's horseshows. He thoroughly enjoyed being there when he was home, and it was wonderful to see how supportive he was of Cody and Buck. But we got the biggest kick out of him when he watched Cody and Lightning run those barrels- his whole face would just light up. He never took his eyes off his son and that little horse as they raced around the arena at break-neck speed, and he was always their biggest, and loudest, cheerleader. As Navy retirees ourselves, we were especially honored to know of the deeply profound dedication and sacrifice Dave continued to provide for our country after his own retirement. Bravo Zulu, shipmate. Robyn, our prayers are with you and and Courtney and Cody. May the Lord bless you and keep you in His warm embrace during this difficult time.
