I regret hearing the news of Mike's passing, and was glad to see the family this evening. My father worked at the NADEP with Mike and my family knew them very well in the early days in Norfolk. Two thoughts came to mind this evening: I most remember Mike for being there for my father, especially when he helped build the den to our house on Winston Street. I also had a large cut on lip and my parents needed advice on whether to get stitches. Evelyn told them I would need between 6-8 stitches. Turned out I got seven.
