Dear Teresa, Trey, Ben and Claire... I was stunned to hear of Chip's passing and would have most certainly been at the memorial service for him this past weekend if I had known about it. Tears came to my eyes when I saw his precious face on this memorial page. So many dear memories came flooding back. What a gifted pastor and teacher. I will forever hold dear the years my children and I spent under his pastoring at Bethel -- he was such a blessing to our little broken family at that time. Bethel played a big part in our healing process as I found myself unwillingly a single mom of 3 little ones. We found love and a new family at Bethel. We all adored Chip. May the peace of God wash over you all as you journey on for a season without your husband/father by your side. What a joy to know we will one day see Chip again! Praise the Lord for His victory over death!! What joy it brings to now Chip is now enjoying the presence of his Lord in person and the glories of our eternal home.
