Condolence From: Nancy and Armand Beede
Condolence: Dearest Aunt Priscilla, Cousins Teresa, Tom, Christy, Amy, Kim,

Aunt Priscilla and Uncle Gus are nearest to me and I love them with my whole heart.

How I want Uncle Gus back with his soft voice, his kindly smile, his passion for the Red Sox, his stories of our family. My love for you goes back to my toddler days and your Navy career inspired me to follow in the same service. Your love, your humanity, your kind and gentle ways. We want you back.

As Catholics, our happiness is that Christ is truly risen and that you, Uncle Gus, are truly alive in the Wedding of the Lamb.

We love you.

Condolence: Priscilla and Family:

My heartfelt prayers to you. I will always remember Gus with a smile on his face and a "light hearted" remark. Congressman Pickett relied on him for his views on Veterans issues. He was always supportive and provided great insight and opinions on such issues. I loved bantering with him on the subject of the day and just life in general. What a special man who touched so many people. He was always by your side Priscilla through all those years of planning parades! Such wonderful memories. I am a better person for having known you and Gus. Love you!! Jeanne

Condolence: Dear Priscilla and Family,
“And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again,and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.” John 16:22

Both Susan and I were saddened to hear of Gus’s passing. Please accept our deepest condolences and know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Combat Infantryman and Navy Chief – No finer than that – our nation's best! His dedication and devotion to God, Country, Family, the Army, the Navy and all Veterans is a legacy that will endure and transcend generations to come. As a spiritual gift to your family you shall be remembered in the Liturgy of the Hours and a Votive Candle will be lit it in his memory at Saint John the Apostle Church. For Gus, life has not ended but only changed.With love and God’s blessing to you all.

Condolence: Our Grandfather kept a garden.
A garden of the heart;
He planted all the good things,
That gave our lives their start.
He turned us to the sunshine,
And encouraged us to dream:
Fostering and nurturing the seeds of self-esteem.
And when the winds and rain came,
He protected us enough;
But not too much because he knew
We would stand up strong and tough.
His constant good example,
Always taught us right from wrong;
Markers for our pathway that will last
a lifetime long.
We are our Grandfathers garden,
We are his legacy.
Thank you Grandpa, we LOVE you!!

It's so hard to lose a loved one, knowing they are with the lord helps our heart, but sometimes the tears flow anyway....RIP Grandpa I love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck.
