Duane D.  Wingood
Duane D. Wingood, 52, passed away August 28, 2015. Duane was born in Syracuse, NY to the late, David A. Wingood and Mrs. Audrey Ross Wingood. Duane served his country in the United States Navy and was currently employed as a truck driver with MDV Nash Finch; he was also a member of South Norfolk Congregational Christian Church.

Besides his mother he also leaves to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Jame' Hanbury Wingood; daughters, D'Anna Kapusta and her husband, Lt. Joshua Kapusta, USCG, and Andrea M. Kearns; son, David M. Wingood; granddaughter, Ariella M. Cruz; sisters, Debra Manning (Doug), Denise Walker (Al), Dawn Serino (Sam); brother, David R. Wingood (Sandy); and numerous extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake on Thursday, September 3, 2015 from 6 pm to 7:30 pm.

A service to celebrate his life will be held Friday, September 4, 2015 at 11am at the funeral home with Pastor Jake Tromburt officiating followed by military honors.

The family also invites you to a reception immediately following. He will be laid to rest at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk.
