I met Willie years ago when I was a young girl. All though I did not know him well, I grew up hearing story about him and his brothers. He sound like he was really a special person, only wish my family and I could have gotten to know him better. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family. (My father "Herbert William Singleton" better known as Pete" was his cousin and his mother Daisy Singleton was his aunt. When my mother came over here from England during the war to married my father they use to spend evening at the club listing to them play, my mother always said they were great singers. Whenever you think of him you will think of his smile, I will.
