Obituary for Phyllis A. Winslow

Phyllis A.  Winslow
CHESAPEAKE—Phyllis A. Winslow, 65, of the 500 block of Centerville Turnpike South, died June 20, 2010 at her residence. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles #795 and the South Norfolk Moose Lodge #764.
Surviving are her loving husband and best friend, Melson Allen Winslow; a daughter, Mary Kanakaris; a son, Peter Smith, Jr.; a granddaughter, Gracey Kanakaris; a sister, Maureen Sammon; two brothers, Paul McDermott and Kevin McDermott; two step-daughters, Mary Darden and Tammy Bachman; a step-son, Kerry Winslow; seven step-grandchildren; a step-great granddaughter; and eight nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Graham Funeral Home, Greenbrier Chapel with entombment in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Online viewing of the service will be available.
