Condolences

Condolence From: BJ Bariciano
Condolence: So sorry to hear of her passing. I enjoyed having her as a patient here at CVAL, and looked forward to her visits and the stories she would tell. I'm sure you know well that she was a joy to many who worked with her.

Condolence: When I think of Ms. Edney, she always told me to call her Nancy, I just have to smile. She was the most pleasant person, so giving, and loving. She had a way of making anyone she met feel special. I enjoyed listening and watching her play the piano. Her love of music showed in her performance. She will be greatly missed. My deepest sympathy goes to you, her family. Her wonderful memories will continue.

Condolence From: Jan Koelenbeek
Condolence:
Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free
I'm following the path God has chosen for me.
I took His hand when I heard him call;
I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day,
To laugh, to love, to work or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way;
I've now found peace at the end of day.

If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joys.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss;
Oh yes, these things, I too will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow
Look for the sunshine of tomorrow.

My life's been full, I savored much;
Good friends, good times, a loved ones touch.
Perhaps my time seems all to brief;
Don't lengthen your pain with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and peace to thee,
God wanted me now-He set me free..

She will be missed and thought of often..

Koelenbeek Family,
Mamie,Julie,Jan,John & Jamie

Condolence From: Betty Colgin
Condolence: So glad I had the opportunity to visit for several hours on 6/3/10. As sick as she was, she still had that great sense of humor. In the past 12 years, we have worked and played together and enjoyed it all. As a friend of ours said to me yesterday, she was a beautiful person inside and out. Another friend (Mary Brent) said, the walk through life is sometimes difficult, but, we know who "Holds Tomorrow". Nancy knew that well. Rest well dear friend, miss you so much. Pat, Tim and Mitch - I'm thinking of you.

Condolence From: Charlotte Swaffin
Condolence: My husband , Fred Swaffin and I thought lots of Nancy. She was a great friend of our family, my mother, and our church family at Morattico Baptist Church. She was a great pianist for our church and choir. She started a choir at our church and all who attended enjoyed getting together weekly with her expertise in music. When she left Lancaster Co. we were all very sad to lose her presence but realized she wanted to get nearer to her family. Fred passed away Dec. 2009 suddenly with liver cancer. So sorry she had to go through that dreaded disease too. May God bless you all.

Condolence: We were sorry to learn about Mrs. Edney's death. Know she will be missed by her family and friends. Knew her from Hickory UMC and at one time she went to WW with me. Had not seen her in a long time. May God be with her family at this difficult time.

Condolence: Nancy was a great friend when she was in Kilmarnock. She directed our choir and was our pianist at Morattico Baptist Church. She was greatly missed by our church when she moved back to Chesapeake. We didn't keep in touch as I should have, but did send notes and called periodically. She played the piano beautifully and we loved her.I know she is at peace now.
