My first memory of Missy is from 1996. We had just started our freshman year at VT and we were leaving the BSU. As we walked down the sidewalk, Missy and I discovered that we were both from Virginia Beach and even though she went to Salem and I went to Kempsville, we knew some of the same people. I remember that Missy was wearing a polka dot skirt. Evan and I shared a lot of fun times with Missy - countless memories at BSU, time with the Christian family, sharing rides home, a trip to Knoxville, Thursday night TV at her (and Becky's) apartment. She will always come to mind when I think of college. She was always so happy and positive. I'm very grateful we could visit her one last time over Thanksgiving. We celebrate her precious life.
