CHESAPEAKE—Margie Lee Anderson, 80, of the 2400 block of Chesapeake Circle, died January 17, 2004 in Chesapeake. A native of Nash County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Bertie Haywood and Doshie Price Ellis and the wife of the late Jarvis Rudolph Anderson, Sr. She worked for many years at Sands Produce Company.

She is survived by four daughters, Sylvia Daniel and her husband, Danny, and Jean Burger and her husband, Bob, all of Jacksonville, FL; Barbara Mott and her husband, Jerry, and Juanita Lawrence and her husband, Tommy, all of Chesapeake; one son, Stevie Anderson of Portsmouth, VA; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, J. R. Anderson, Jr.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel with Rev. Henry V. Napier officiating. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens.
