CHESAPEAKE- Leticia Cruz Egley, 63, passed away unexpectedly, June 13, 2015. She was born in Manila, Philippines to the late Leoncio and Maria Santa Maria Cruz. She was a longtime member at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Chesapeake. Leticia had the biggest heart, the biggest smile, a love for cooking, shopping and joking. But most of all, she cherished her family. She was a very forgiving, loving and unconditional wife, mother, “Lola” and friend to all she knew.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband and soulmate of 42 years, Austin Thomas Egley; children, Jennifer Parasio Egley, Jennelyn Egley Smith, Austin Cruz Egley, Thomas Amos Egley (Alexis) and Donald Michael Egley; grandchildren, Keiana, Blake, Jake and TKE; brother, Rodrigo S. Cruz (Maantonette) and numerous other loving family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 18 2015 from 6-8pm at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake. The Holy Rosary will begin at 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, June 19, 2015, at 11am at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 621 Cedar Rd, Chesapeake, with Father Romeo Jazmin officiating. Burial will follow at 3pm at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk. Please visit her Book of memories at www.grahamfuneralhome.com where you may leave a note to the family.
