Katherine E. Bolton
Katherine E. Bolton, 93, passed away August 25, 2018. Katherine was born in Norfolk County to the late Amanuel and Lena Culpepper Etheridge. Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husbands, Claude Cesil and Buford Barton; step-children, Wanda Jordan and David Bolton; and great-grandson, Cameron Reece. Katherine was a part of the very first graduating class of Hickory High School and served as a manager for many local convenience stores.

Left to cherish her memory is loving husband, Virgle Lewis Bolton; children, Claude Cesil (Laurie), Buddy Cesil (Kerry), B.H. Barton (Alana), Michael Barton (Norma) and Donna Martin (Archie); 18 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren; dear friend, Patti Barton; and a host of other family and friends.

The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake on Thursday, August 30, 2018 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. A service to celebrate her life will be held the funeral home on Friday, August 31, 2018 at 11 a.m. She will be laid to rest at Riverside Memorial Park, Norfolk.
