Juanita Peace  Turner
Juanita P. Turner, 88 on October 4, 2016, went home to be with Jesus and predeceased beloved husband of 57 years, William Langley Turner, Jr. and her son, Curtis V. Turner, rest in peace. “Your beloved husband, and Curtis are there for you, to lead you through the tunnel, no more suffering. Walk the streets of gold with them and be happy ever after. Juanita was a native of Burlington, NC and was the daughter of the late, Franklin Lee Peace and Margie Mae Perry. She was a longtime resident of Portsmouth, she was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, a member of DAV Chapter 27 and had retired as a cashier with the commissary employed with Civil Service.

Juanita was a good-natured and devoted mom of her six children; Loretta T. Riddick, William L. Turner, III, Martha A. Lee, John F. Turner (Sharon) Mary T. Full (Anthony); she was also the greatest loving and devoted Grandma to 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren; she is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and other family members and friends. She was also predeceased by her two canine companions, Angel Luv and Sparky Lee Turner.

The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake on Monday, October 10, 2016 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 2117 London Blvd, Portsmouth with Dr. Hal Hostetler officiating.
