Joyce Smith Maciejewski, 83, passed away October 29, 2016. Joyce was born in Norfolk, Virginia to William Smith and Beatrice Miller Smith and was the loving wife of 63 years to the late Gilbert Maciejewski. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son, Dale. Joyce was a devoted sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Debra; daughter-in-law, Cathy; four grandchildren; grandson-in-law; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sandra and Mary; and a host of other family and friends.

The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake, on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 8100 Granby Street, Norfolk.
