CHESAPEAKE—Johda Ann Cook, 64, of the 1400 block of Hull Street, died June 29, 2004 in Chesapeake. A native of South Norfolk, she was the daughter of the late Alfred R. Carley and the wife of the late Robert Junior Cook. She was a member of South Norfolk Baptist Church.

Surviving are her mother, Annie Irene Lynch Carley of Chesapeake; one daughter, Susan Keel of Chesapeake; two sons, Robert J. Cook, Jr. of Virginia Beach and Arnold Cook of Chesapeake; nine grandchildren; three sisters, Frances Covell of Chesapeake, Jeanette Hardy of West Cape May, NJ, and Eunice Crider of Raleigh, NC; and three brothers, Richard Carley, Albert Allen Carley, and James D. Carley, all of Chesapeake.

A graveside service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Dr. Scott Harris officiating. The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel on Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. and at 1401 Ardmore Circle, Chesapeake at all other times.
