CHESAPEAKE—Jeanne Lamison Carlson, 52, of the 1300 block of Marilla Lane, went to be with the Lord on April 30, 2005 in Chesapeake after a nearly five-year battle with ovarian cancer. A native of Joplin, MO, she was the daughter of the late Louis C. and Sara Pfremmer Lamison. She attended Atlantic Shores Baptist Church, Virginia Beach.

She is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, Gary E. Carlson; two daughters, Sally H. Carlson and Anna J. Carlson; two sons, Joel G. Carlson and Jared G. Carlson, all of Chesapeake; one sister, Barbara Bozarth and her husband, Bud; a niece, Sara Bozarth; and a nephew, Duke Bozarth, all of New Jersey.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at l p.m. in Atlantic Shores Baptist Church Life Center. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral home, Greenbrier Chapel, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake on Tuesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Atlantic Shores Christian High School Scholarship Fund, 1217 North Centerville Turnpike, Chesapeake, VA 23320.
