Condolence: Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle Autumn's rain.
When you awaken in the morning hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there, I did not die.

Condolence: My heart goes out to all of you. Few of us can empathize with losing a child and the pain you must feel. I recently saw a line that read "to have lived a meaningful life is a wondrous thing". And I thought "how does one know that someone has lived a meaningful life?" The answer came to me immediately...a measure of meaningful life is all of the people who love you. I know that Heather live a meaningful life and, although her life was a wondrous thing, I am so sorry that you had so little time with her. Mary
