Gavino "Gabby" Cambi Cabotaje
VIRGINIA BEACH- Gavino “Gabby” Cambi Cabotaje, 94, passed away December 31, 2013 with his family by his side. He was born in Alcala Pangasinan, Philippines to the late Francisco and Canuta Cabotaje. He was predeceased by his daughter, Cerena and siblings, Ponciano, Marcelino, Zacarias, Candido, Florentina and Francisca. He was a Barangay Captain for 10 years and the Municipal Councilor of Alcala, Pangasinan for 4 years. He was a friend to all, loved telling stories and laughter.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 75 years, Romana “Sharon”; children, Anselmo, Felomina (Victor), Rudy (Avelina), Eulalia (Rogelio), Lolita, Luz (Lawrence), Marilou, Junjun, Analyn, Dondon and Mac-Mac; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other extended family.
A service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 6 pm at Graham Funeral Home with Pastor Charger Ilao officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6-8 pm.
