Edward Allen Clark, 75, passed away peacefully at his home in Virginia Beach on April 29, 2016. Edward was born in Chicago Illinois .

Edward proudly served in the USMC for four years. Afterwards he was a respected sergeant in the Lombard Police Dept. for 25 years. He always spoke his mind with a caustic sense of humor. He was a great humanitarian, loved animals, hot dogs, donuts, coffee and cooking.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 29 years, Peggy; son, Jim Clark (Denise) ; step daughter, Sandra Mecklenburg and fiance (Richard Kleifgen); sisters, Carolyn and Mary Ellen, brother, Ray Clark; grandchildren and great grandchildren . Predeceased by his daughter, Pamela and brother John.

The service to celebrate his life will be held at Graham Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake, on Sunday May 8, at 2 p.m. with a luncheon to follow .
