Collie Franklin  Brickhouse, Sr.
Collie Franklin Brickhouse, Sr., 76, passed away August 19, 2013. He was born in Norfolk County to the late George Eddie and Ella Mae Perkins Brickhouse. Collie loved his family and provided for them by tending the land as a farmer.
He is survived by the love of his life, Doris Williams Brickhouse; son, Collie Franklin “Frank” Brickhouse, Jr. and his wife, Tammie; daughter, Joan B. Higgins and her husband, Kevin; grandchildren, Collie F. “Trey” Brickhouse, III, and his wife, Debra; and Erin Higgins; great grandchildren, Matthew, Luke and Kimberly; and cousins, Jim Everton and John Perkins.
A service to celebrate his life will be held Thursday, August 22, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Graham Funeral Home with Rev. Frank T. Jennings officiating, the family will receive friends following the service. He will be laid to rest at Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation for the Doctors and Staff of Chesapeake Regional Medical Center, also in lieu of flowers they request memorial contributions be made to the ALS Association, 275 K Street NW - Suite 250 - Washington, DC 20005.
