Pamela Hunroe Stroud
Pamela Hunroe Stroud, 49, passed away after a year long battle with cancer on October 20, 2015. Pam was born in Norfolk to the late Robert Hunroe and Shirlyn Hunroe. Pam's greatest joy was when she met the love of her life Brian Stroud, they met 30 years ago and together they traveled and had many happy memories. Her pride and joy and by far the greatest accomplishment were her children, Corey and Chelsea.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving and devoted husband, Brian K. Stroud; children, Corey and Chelsea Stroud; her mother Shirlyn K. Hunroe; brother, Bruce Hunroe; niece, Campbell; uncles, Sid, Bernie and Phillip Koerin; and a host of other family members and friends. The family extends many thanks to Duke University Medical Center, Virginia Oncology, Sentara Norfolk General Hospital and Chesapeake Regional Medical Center for all the care and compassion they showed; and also to Dr. Howard R. Feldman there are not enough words to say thank you.

The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake on Thursday, October 22, 2015 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A service to celebrate her life will be held Friday, October 23, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Dr. Will Langford officiating. Burial will follow at Chesapeake Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions should be made to Southeast Beagle Rescue at www.southeastbeaglerescue.org.
