Condolences

Condolence From: BTC Frank Covato
Condolence: Donna, our prayers are with you and your family. Norman will be missed greatly by his shipmates. Norman will always be remembered as the one who helped us stay together through the tough times. Often he acomplished this withhis sense of humor. Norman was a good and failtful friend and I am very proud to have served along side him on the USS Portland LSD-37. May our LOrd sustain you through your time of grief and carry you through the rest of your days. God Bless Chuckie

Condolence: To The Family, I read of your loss and want to express my deepest sympathy. I also want to share the comfort of John 5:28,29 which assures us of the hope that those who have fallen asleep in death will receive a "resurrection" back to life. God promises that those who get to know him and love him will live forever on an earth restored to a paradise. Psalms 37:11 says, "The meek ones themselves will possess the earth, and they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace." While we await that wonderful time please find comfort in these promises.

We are sorry about Norman. I still remember the time he got us the discount motel rates on one of our visits to Norfolk. Every time I talked to Greg I would ask about him.
Our prayers & thoughts are with you and May God be with during this time
