Dorothy Lynn Worlds
Dorothy L. Worlds, 64, passed away peacefully in her home on September 30, 2017 surrounded by friends and family. She was born in Norfolk to the late Eugene and Evelyn Spradlin. Besides her parents she was also predeceased by her sister, Marcia Farmer. Dorothy was a graduate of Granby High School. She loved her family, the outdoors, woodworking and fishing at her vacation home at Lake Gaston.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 45 years, Homer W. Worlds; daughters, Kimberly Clayton and Amanda Determan and her husband, Kent; 4 grandchildren, Shane, Tyler, Amelia and Audrey; and a host of other family members and friends.
The family would like to say a special thanks to the comfort Care Hospice Home Care Team for their care and compassion. They gave us strength and hope which has brought us peace and harmony as a family.
A service to celebrate her life will be held Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake.
