Minnie King  Crockett
Minnie Crockett, 96, originally from Tangier Island, went to be with the Lord March 22, 2017. Minnie was predeceased by her parents, Euna Parks and Earl King; husband, Vaughn B. Crockett; and sister, Naomi Brancato. She was an elementary school teacher at Park Elementary for 33 years. A lifelong learner, Minnie attended Longwood College and received her Bachelor's from Old Dominion University at the age of 63.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Earl Norris Crockett and Brindle Dale Crockett (Sandee); daughter, Brendalyn Faughn Sharp (Keith); grandchildren, Sean, Alan, and Corey Crockett, Tyler Whitfield, and Kelli Crockett Wroblewski; great-grandchildren, Colin and Savannah Crockett and Maddox Wroblewski; sisters, Helen Wallace, Faye Monk, Lillian Everett, and Maxine Loving; brother, Bryan King; and a host of other family and friends.

The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home & Cremation Services,1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake on Sunday, March 26, 2017 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. A service to celebrate her life will be held Monday, March 27, 2017, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with a reception to follow.
