Karen Rabelista Merzier, 46, passed away October 22, 2016. Karen was born in Olongapo City, Philippines to Johnny Hosch and Epifania Rabelista Cochran. She was predeceased by her daughter, Natalie Hosch. Karen was always passionate about life and loved to cook, make organic soaps, and pull pranks. She was a loving and protective mother to her children, a thoughtful daughter, and good to her cousins. Karen loved God and was a member of Coastal Virginia Church.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Reginald Merzier; children, Raphael and Caleb Merzier; mother, Epi Cochran (Roger); father, Johnny Hosch (Carol); aunts, Alejandra Mattausch, Carina Patten (Dan), and Dolores Maier; and a host of other family and friends.

The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake on Friday, October 28, 2016 from 6-7:30 p.m. A service to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Chesapeake Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake.
