VIRGINIA BEACH- Ann Gregory White, 89, passed away peacefully, May 29, 2016. She was born in Elizabeth City, NC to the late Coley B. and Lillian Ranhorn Gregory. Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by her loving husband on January 15, 2008, Marion “Pint” White and a brother, Thomas Gregory. Ann graduated from Elizabeth City High School in 1944 and then later graduated from Keys Business College in 1957. She was employed as a legal secretary for the U.S. Attorney’s Office from 1957-1977 and for the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Virginia from 1977-1987. Ann was a long time member of St. Peters Episcopal Church, Norfolk.

Ann resided at Atlantic Shores, Virginia Beach since 2009. She enjoyed playing bridge with her friends, gardening and watching basketball, especially NC State. Left to cherish her memory are loving family and friends who will miss her dearly.

A cremation graveside service will be held to celebrate the life of Ann and Pint. They will be laid to rest together on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at 11 am at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, 3609 Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk with Rev. John Eidam officiating.
