Gladys Jordan Phillips, 94, passed away October 18, 2015. Gladys was born in Newcomb, TN to the late Arch and Lucy Blankenship Jordan and was the loving wife of 60 years to the late Paul Greer Phillips. Gladys was a member of Chesapeake First Pentecostal which became Higher Life Ministries, she even had the honor of being the oldest charter member. Gladys loved ice cream and her azaleas

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Debbie Lewis and her significant other, Wayne Snow; her grandson, Christopher Lewis; the family also extends a heartfelt thank you for love and support to her niece, Shirley Kraus, dear friends and church family, Carolyn Foster and Regina Bowles and her nurses and aides, Shelia Sjorgren of Grace Hospice also Hannah Parker and Paula Hamilton of Direct Homes; and a host of extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. A service to celebrate her life will be held Thursday, October 22, 2015 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Norfolk.
