George Martin  Phelps Sr.
George Martin Phelps, 84, passed away suddenly on September 14, 2015. George was born in Norfolk to the late, Joseph and Louise Youre Phelps. He served in the United States Army and retired from Westinghouse. Besides his parents, George was also predeceased by his siblings, Helen and Joseph.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Judith A. Votava (Richard F.), George M. Phelps, Jr. (Doug Wentz), Georgia L. Robertson (John), Joan M. Thomas (Perry); grandchildren, Christopher S. McClenny and Jason A. McClenny (Betty); great-grandchildren, Haley, Landon, Mason, Logan, and Calen McClenny; sister, Frances Watson; brother, Edward Phelps; and numerous other family and friends.

A service to celebrate his life will be held Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 11:00 am at Graham Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Meals on Wheels at www.mowaa.org.
