William Jennings Matney
William Jennings Matney, 73, passed away August 27, 2015. William was born in Grundy, VA to the late Andrew and Florence Clark Matney and was also predeceased by his sisters, June and Clara May and his brothers, Roy, Jimmy, and A.C. He was a retired Brickmason.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 20 years, Georgia Mae Matney; sons, David and Stephen Matney; step-children, Pat Marshall (Johnnie), Roger Ward (Kathy), Steven Ward (Beverly), David Ward, and Danny Ward (Tracey); numerous grandchildren and step-grandchildren; sisters, Evelyn Holliday (Bill) and Anne Fagan (Howard); brother, Eddie Matney; and a host of other family and friends.

A service to celebrate his life will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2015, at 11:30 a.m. at Graham Funeral Home. Please visit his book of memories at www.grahamfuneralhome.com to view the service if unable to attend and to send words of encouragement to the family.
