Arturo (Arthur) was my "Grandpa" or "Papa" growing up. He treated me like a granddaughter after my mom met him at our church. I loved hearing stories about the Phillipines, Arturo's kids and grandkids, and eating dried mangoes, chocolate, and going to breakfast with him. He had the heart of a child, and I thought he would live forever. I wish I would have kept in better touch with Arthur after he moved away, but I know he was in the best place in the world. . .with his family. I will never forget the love he showed everyone he met. He was a true gentleman, and he lived his life for others. I will miss you. Thank you to Mitzi and all of Arthur's family for sharing him with my family for so many years.
