Marvin K. Allegood, Jr., 84 went home to be with the Lord September 4, 2012. He was a born in South Norfolk to the late Marvin K. and Helen Plummer Allegood and was the loving husband of the late, Jean Robinson Allegood. Marvin served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War; retired as a Computer Analyst with the U.S Government and was a member of Avalon Church of Christ.
Left to cherish his memory is sons, David K. Allegood and his wife, Geralyn; Bradley C. Allegood and his wife, Kathleen; six grandchildren, Christina Warren and her husband, Woody, Beau G. Allegood and his wife, Laura, Kyle K. Allegood and his wife, Laura, Michelle F. Allegood, Jason C. Allegood and his wife, Laura; and Daniel K. Allegood; and great- grandchildren, Evan, Alex and Wyatt.
A service to celebrate his life will be held Thursday, September 6, 2012 at 11 am at Avalon Church of Christ. He will be laid to rest at Riverside Memorial Park.
