We were blessed to have met Shirley, Glen, Grandma Newt, and Lauren eighteen years ago. "Ms. Shirley" began as our childcare provider, but she became so much more. She provided us with guidance, support, counseling, and most of all love. We cannot remember a time she did not shower the children with parties and presents. Our successes were her successes. Our milestones were her milestones. Her loving concern did not cease when her services were no longer required. She made a point to "check up" on us- even when her health started to fail. Shirley exhibited a brave face and valant spirit. We are honored to have known and loved Shirley. Her influence will be treasured and remembered all the days of our lives.
