Obituary for Yin Fei Wong
It is with profound sadness that our beloved mother, Yin Fei Wong (Alice), passed away suddenly on February 15, 2023. She was 67 years old. Alice passed away from complications related to pneumonia and tuberculosis. It was truly unexpected.
Alice was born on June 3, 1955, in Hong Kong, to Wai Wing Wong and Sin Lee Wong. She was the third child of four children and was a devoted sister to her siblings. She liked to travel with her mother when she was young, and she took good care of her parents. She respected and treated her siblings well. She acted like a coordinator among the siblings and tried to keep the family in frequent contact, even though they lived not close to each other after growing up. The concept of being a family was important to her.
On the other hand, Alice was a lovely mother to her two children, Dixon and Ruby, and a faithful wife to her husband, Simon. They were all heartbroken by her sudden departure. She took care of her children very well and never made them worry about any housework. She provided the warmest home for her children, even when the family was in financial difficulty. She was a strong woman to even work for physical labor jobs. It was always exhausting for her after work. But she never complained about anything as soon as her children were having a comfortable life. She was very tough and optimistic.
Additionally, Alice was a kind-hearted woman who always put others before herself. She loved spending time with friends whenever she was available. Her infectious smile touched every single one of her friends and her sense of humor would light up any room. She cared about her friends and family by frequently giving warm and considerate greetings. Her kind words were always ready when she was needed. Alice enjoyed reading, gardening, and cooking, and she took great pride in her ability to create delicious meals for her family.
Alice's sudden passing has left a huge void in the lives of those who knew her. Her children, Dixon and Ruby, will always remember their mother's unwavering love and support, and her family and friends will miss her dearly. Alice's memory will live on through the love she shared with those around her, and she will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Forever, ever, ever.
