Willie Clyde Jack Rowell, Sr., 84, passed away January 16, 2021. Jack was born on January 23, 1936 in Douglas, Georgia to the late Earlie Earl Rowell and Dorothy Aline Thomas. He graduated from Norview High School and served as a Reserve in the Army National Guard. Jack spent many years working in construction and enjoyed baseball, softball, golf, hunting and fishing in his free time. He served as a past president of the Chesapeake Athletic Club and was a long-time member and past president of the Lively Hunt Club. Jack was also a member of Christ''s Sanctified Holy Church. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 42 years, Vicki S. Rowell, his son, Jack Rowell, Jr., his brother Johnny Rowell and his stepfather Carl Thomas.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, Kevin (Lynn); daughter, Susan Doyle (Harold); son, David; grandchildren, Eryn, Thomas, Lauren, Heather, Marilyn and Madison; and great-grandchildren, Liam, Avery, Jordyn, Virginia and Fiona. Kevin would like to thank all of Jack''s friends and family (to include his Sommerton family) for their love, friendship and support of Jack over the years.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 16, 2021 at 3:00pm at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Rd. Chesapeake.
