William Thomas Rogers, 81, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2019 in Boston, Massachusetts. He was born September 9, 1937 in Tryon, North Carolina to the late William and Susie Black Rogers. He was the loving husband of the late Anna Mae Fisher Rogers for 58 years. He served his country faithfully in the US Army as well as the National Guard. William participated in the Full Gospel Businessman Fellowship. He enjoyed bowling, reading, historic documentaries and vintage cars. William cherished spending time with his family.
Left to mourn his presence are his children: Phyllis T. Rogers, Dr. Vivian Rogers, Caroline L. Rogers, Constance Rogers-Stewart and her husband Donald, and son, Anthony W. Rogers.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 15, 2019 from 6:00pm - 7:30pm at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Rd. Chesapeake. A celebration of his life will be held Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at 11:00am at the funeral home, with a repast to follow.
