Obituary for Teresa Lynn Fentress
Teresa Lynn Fentress passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, March 30,2023 at the age of 67. Teresa was born in Norfolk September 9, 1955, to William Floyd and Evelyn R. Brogden. Teresa was predeceased by her parents, and her brother, Jeffrey F. Brogden.
Teresa was a 1973 graduate of Frank W. Cox High School and was a member of the Marching Falcons Color Guard which she enjoyed immensely. After high school she went on to work for the Department of Defense as a civil servant. She served her country for an incredible 32 years! After retiring Teresa loved to go camping, take walks on the beach, collect seashells, go shopping and most importantly helping others. Teresa was an amazing daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend. She will be remembered for her kind heart and contagious smile.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Robert S. Fentress, Jr.; her daughter and fiancé, Christi L. Fentress and Norman V. Belton; her favorite cousin, Linda Martin and many other family and friends.
A service to celebrate her life will be held Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake with Pastor Tracy Gregory officiating. Following the service, the family will receive friends in the chapel for a short time and then they invite you to join them for a time of food and fellowship in the reception center at the funeral home.
