Sidney Albert Edmundson, 88, passed away May 25, 2023. Sidney was born to the late James Allen and Lillian Arrington Edmundson. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his first wife and mother of his son, Dorothy V. Edmundson; and second wife, Frances Louise Edmundson. He served his country faithfully before being medically retired from the U.S. Navy. He worked for and retired from Royal Silver Manufacturing after 40 years of service.

Sidney enjoyed deep relationships with his many friends, as well as Christian fellowship with the Church at Redeemed Church of God. Left to cherish his memory is his loving son, Barry L. Edmundson and his wife Donna; grandson, Craig Edmundson; sister, Bertha Proctor; and many friends and extended family members.

A special thank you to Lee Annette Flores "Flower" for all of your love, support and compassion. Knowing you were there helping him at the end brings us great comfort. We are truly thankful for what you did for our family.

The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake on May 30, 2023 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A service to celebrate his life will be held at the funeral home Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at 11:00 am with Pastor Charles Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Memorial Park, Norfolk.
