Shirley Dail Everett, 83, was born November 26, 1935 and returned to her heavenly home November 26, 2018. Born in Gum Neck, NC to the late Theof Belvin Everton and Ruby Weatherly Everton. Shirley retired as a bookkeeper with Smith and Williams Funeral Home; she attended Great Bridge Free Will Baptist Church and volunteered with Meals on Wheels of Chesapeake.

She is survived by her husband, Alfred V. Everett, Jr.; children, Allen Dail (Carol), Donnie Dail (Debi) and Cindy J. Warner (Bill); six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and her sister, Anna Jo Taylor (Ray).

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 3, 2018 beginning at 11 a.m. at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake. A service to celebrate her life will begin at noon with Pastor Jay Baines. She will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk.
