Obituary for Sheryl Young Morales
Sheryl Morales, 55, left this world peacefully on October 9th, 2022. Sheryl was born and raised in Chesapeake, Virginia to the late Donald and Norma Young.
Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Jessica Chilel and Taylor “Jordan” Morales; two grandchildren, Gabriella “Punkin” Chilel and Amelia “Jellybean” Smith; and her significant other, Clarence Byrum.
Sheryl was a stay at home mom for years and she took pride in it. Being a mom and a nana was her biggest accomplishment and she loved every second of it. Her grand babies absolutely adored their nana. There’s not enough words to sum up the kind of person Sheryl was. She was hilarious, smart, kind, brave, resilient; the list goes on and on. She was a bright light everywhere she went and she made every body smile even when they didn’t want to. She will be deeply missed by everyone that knew her.
The family will receive friends for a celebration of life service at Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Rd., Chesapeake, VA. on Friday October 28th, 2022, at 4 PM.
