Robert Stewart Howard, Sr., 86, passed away March 1, 2021 at Bickford of Suffolk. He was born May 18, 1934 in Ahoskie, North Carolina to George and Nadine (Futrell) Howard. He married Rose Tyson on October 24, 1953 in Norfolk, Virginia. Survivors include his wife Rose; daughters, Debbie (Fabin) Covington, Pam (Odean) Baker, Donna (Danny) Moss; daughter-in-law, Darlene Howard; grandchildren, Daniel (Candace) Moss, Ashley Covington, Jordan Covington, Dana Moss, Dena Moss, Megan Baker, Tyler Covington, Kristin (Joel) Carman, Robert (Avery) Howard, Trey (Ashley) Baker, Cecelia Howard; great-grandchildren, Kyla Baker, Jamison Moss, Joel Carman, Sadie Moss, Brooks Moss, along with two arriving later this year. He was predeceased by his parents, siblings, and son, Stewart.
The family is inviting friends Thursday March 4, 2021 at 11 am at Tidewater Central Church of the Nazarene, 5514 Parliament Dr, Virginia Beach.
