Obituary for Robert Gustave Comeyne
Robert “Bob” G. Comeyne, 74, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 4, 2019. He was born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island to the late Gustave and Marie Louise Comeyne.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Pamela; his daughter, Kimberly Pinello and her husband Craig; his son, Bruce Comeyne and his wife Anita; his step-daughter, Stacey Treille and her husband Yorick; and his step-son, Brian Getrige. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren, Jessica, Allison, Jacob, Ethan, Owen, Diamond and Hailey. Survivors also include his brothers, Jules Comeyne, Gustave Comeyne; and his sister-in-law, Cynthia Comeyne; as well as numerous loving nieces and nephews. Bob was predeceased by his first wife, Lynnette Comeyne; and his brother, William Comeyne.
He will be missed for his love of his family, his passion for fishing, fast motorcycles, and fun adventures.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at 3 p.m. at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake, VA 23320. The Rev. Thomas L. Mercer, Sr. will officiate. Private burial will be at Quantico National Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the memorial service on Sunday at the Pinello residence.
