Richard Stephen Boryk, Sr., 78, passed away May 16, 2021. He was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania to the late Michael and Emma Novack Boryk and was also predeceased by a son, Rich Stephen Boryk, Jr.; and brothers, James Boryk, Michael Boryk, Jr. Richard served his country faithfully in the U.S. Air Force and subsequently retired from a long career at the Newport News Shipbuilding and Dry Dock. He was a member at St. Mary of the Presentation Catholic Church in Suffolk.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 54 years,Jean M. Boryk; daughters, Lisa A Duez and her husband Anthony, Jennifer M. Ratner and her husband Brett; sister, Nancy Tkac; grandchildren, Andrew R.J. Duez, Austin J. Duez, and Margot Sadie Ratner; as well as extended family members and dear friends.
