Obituary for Rhonda Jean Mackinnon (Atkinson)
Rhonda Jean MacKinnon, passed away unexpectedly April 20, 2019. She was the daughter of the late Jerry Atkinson and Linda Peters. Rhonda was a senior production analyst with PRA Group, Inc.
She is survived by her loving husband, Richard MacKinnon; daughters, Sharon and Robyn MacKinnon; sisters, Audrey Etgen of Junction City, KS; Billie Hernandez and her children Elena 27, Reyna 24, Alex and Austin of Sparta, NC; and Jeri Atkinson-Piasta and her children Eric Ramirez and wife, Crystal, Isaac Piasta and niece, Sierra Piasta of Pilot Mountain, NC; brother, David Peters, sister-in-law Lisa Peters and his children Shiann 17, Dawson 8 and Cade 22 months of Roanoke, VA; sister-in-law, Christine MacKinnon of Largo, FL; nephews and nieces Chuckie 30, Donnie 26, Bethany 22, and Jenna Campbell 21.
Rhonda lived a life full of love and laughter. She always had a smile and a kind word for everyone she met. She would help out anybody without hesitation and was a mother to the world. She will be sorely missed.
A service to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 1 p.m. at Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake. The family will receive friends at a reception at the funeral home following the service. At the request of the family please consider memorial contributions to your local SPCA in lieu of flowers.
