Phillip Wade Price, 77, passed away December 6, 2021. Phillip was born in Pinetops, North Carolina to the late Garland P. and Maverine Brannon Price. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his loving wife of 53 years, Evelyn Holcombe Price; and daughter, Sarah P. Hamilton. Phillip served his country faithfully for 22 years in the National Guard and retired from the Ford Motor Co. as an SPC Specialist. He enjoyed photography, fishing, racing and genealogy; but his biggest passion was his family.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving son, Phillip L. Price (Kate); grandchildren, Will Price, Andy Price and Julianna Hamilton; sister, Kathy Vaughan; brothers, Pat and Larry Price; and numerous other loving family and friends.
The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake on December 10, 2021 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. A service to celebrate his life will be held at the funeral home Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 11am. Burial will follow at Chesapeake Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake.
