Paul Scott Thomas, 60, passed away February 21,2023 after a short battle with cancer. He was born in Andrews, MD to the late Donn E. and Shirley M. Thomas. Paul was a long-term Hampton Roads resident and made his home in South Norfolk for the last 30 years. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, cruising on the boat and watching the Redskins play football while enjoying his favorite beer.
He is remembered best for his charismatic personality and always being surrounded by a large circle of family and friends. He was always full of wit and quick with a comeback. Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 31 years, Alethia P. Thomas; daughter, Cheryl L. Fager and family, Garrett Davis and Madyson. Additionally, he is survived by his sister, Donna McCowan and husband Mac; brother, Mark Thomas, wife Patti and three children; brother in laws, Ernest and Harry Pilley. He also had several nieces and nephews that he loved dearly; Jenny Jones and family, Christina Bolt and husband Darrell, Ashley and Clint Hanvey and two children,Timothy Pilley and family, Elizabeth Pilley and family and Bernadette Pilley and family.
