Obituary for Pamela Lynn Chappell
Pamela "Pam" Lynn Ferguson Chappell, 58, of Virginia Beach, Virginia passed away on December 31, 2022 surrounded by her loving husband, daughter and mother. Pam was predeceased by her father, Earl T. Ferguson, and is survived by her husband, Tim Chappell; daughter, Shaelynn Chappell; mother, Ramona Ferguson; brother, Brian Ferguson; three nieces; one great-niece; and numerous family and friends who will miss her dearly.
Pam was a lifelong resident of Virginia Beach and a graduate of Kempsville High School. She enjoyed a long career in the banking industry and most recently worked for Towne Bank. She was an avid softball player, and she loved boating, camping and days at the beach.
Pam is best known for her strength and resilience in the face of adversity and her passion for life. She set an example for all of those who loved and admired her and will live on in our hearts. The family would like to thank the staff at Bickford of Virginia Beach, especially those in the Mary B. Memory Care unit for their care and support during Pam's final days.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 from 6-8 p.m. at Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at the funeral home.
