Nora Anna Carlisle, 90, passed away July 21, 2017 at her home with her family by her side. Nora was born to the late George and Edna Jenson Shrieves. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Melvin Carlisle; sister, Juanita; and brothers, Clinton and Melvin. Nora retired with the Chesapeake Public Schools as a cafeteria worker at Oscar Smith High School.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Cynthia Harrison (Davy), Robert Carlisle, Edward Carlisle (Jeanie) and Steve Carlisle (Teresita); grandchildren, Jason Carlisle (Dorothy), Christian Harrison (Tori) and David Harrison; great-grandchildren, Madelyn and Dean Carlisle; and sister, Lorraine Goodwin.

The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. A service to celebrate her life will be held Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 1p.m. at the funeral home.
