Mildred "Millie" Bailey Wargo, 88, of Chesapeake, Virginia, went to her heavenly Fathers arms, on Mothers Day, May 12, 2019, giving her daughter one more special day with her best friend. She was born to the late Pharoah Bailey and Ruth Bailey Lockhart, in Iaegar, West Virginia, on January 30, 1931. Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by her sister, Phyllis Harmon. Growing up in Welch, West Virginia during the depression, she joined the US Marines upon graduation in 1950. Being a member of the US Marines was one of her greatest accomplishments in life. Once a Marine, always a Marine. She then worked for the Federal Government-Civil Service for 40 years. Millie will be deeply missed by her daughter and caregiver, Lori Wargo and all her furry grandbabies. Her last 10 years were not an easy journey.

Besides her daughter, Millie has left behind her sons, Bernie and Todd Wargo; sister, Barbara Marlowe; and several nieces and nephews.
