Obituary for Matthew Ray Bozman

Matthew Ray Bozman, 29 passed away in a tragic car accident on his commute to work on Tuesday January 14, 2020 in North Carolina. He attended Grassfield High School and Tidewater Community College in Chesapeake, Virginia. He worked for Four C Construction Inc. for the past six years as an electrician. Matthew was an avid fisherman and enjoyed watching professional sports, especially the Atlanta Braves, and the Lakers. Matthew was well known for his generosity and many acts of kindness towards others as he could never say no to anyone in need. Matthew is well known for making the following statements, "I love my mom and I love my 2K". Matthew grew up with thirteen cousins that love and adored him and he will be sorely missed by all greatly.

Matthew is survived by his mother, Patsy Bozman and proceeded in death by his father, Stanley "Buddy" Bozman. Matthew is proceeded in death by his maternal grandparents, Alvin Ray White and Betty Anne White. He also leaves behind a great-uncle Bobby O'Connor and his wife Pat; five aunts, Debbie Waters of Chesapeake, Kathy Meade of Florida and her husband Mark of Chesapeake, Theresa Sullivan and her husband Ralph of Chesapeake, Sharon Lewis and her husband Frankie of Chesapeake, and Donna Higgins and her husband Kelly of Virginia Beach; two uncles, Robbie White of Richmond and Kenny White and his wife Rhonda of Chesapeake; thirteen cousins, Jenna Waters of Texas, Aaron Waters of Chesapeake, Eric White of Blacksburg, Jacob White of Richmond, Kyle White of Blacksburg, Kolby White of Chesapeake, Dr. Melissa Gregory of Lynchburg, Kevin Meade of Elizabeth City, Morgan Meade of Chesapeake, Cortney Sullivan of Chesapeake, Caitlin of Chesapeake, Sammy Higgins of Virginia Beach, and Kellie Rae Higgins of Virginia Beach; great-cousins, Angie Oconnor Walger, and Robert O'Connor

The family will receive friends Monday January 20, 2020 from 6:00-7:30 at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Rd. Chesapeake. The funeral will take place Tuesday January 21, 2020 at 1:00pm at the funeral home with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery of Norfolk, VA. Directly following the graveside, Patsy Bozman would like to invite all back to Graham Funeral Home for a time of togetherness and fellowship in the reception hall.
